The Data Science Group

The PREDICT data science team is headed by Chief Statistician Gry Juul Poulsen and is a multidisciplinary team consisting of both young and experienced biostatisticians, bioinformaticians and data scientists. 

The group’s role in PREDICT is to tackle the practical aspects of building and expanding the data infrastructure, prepare data sets for analysis, design and perform statistical analyses, as well as to assist researchers working on the data themselves. The group has experience in a wide range of applied statistics covering classical epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, human biology, and machine learning, which are continuously developed and taught to younger researchers in the center, who all work closely with the team.

Expected achievements
To continue the development of processes for pseudonymization, documentation, management of permissions, and quality control to ensure reproducible research. To collaborate with, teach and assist researchers across all groups in the center with data preparation and statistical analyses at the highest international level.
